I’m a second-time founder looking for a technical cofounder, ideally in SF but open to the right person anywhere. Since 12, I’ve built and operated small businesses across different markets, from consumer products to skincare. My previous startup was a skincare brand focused on hyperpigmentation solutions for women of color. Now I’m building Apt — an AI-native workplace where people build and prove capability through real work instead of resumes and interviews. Today, companies struggle to evaluate talent beyond credentials, while millions of people struggle to gain experience because they need experience to get opportunities. Apt creates persistent AI workplaces where users can work as PMs, engineers, designers, and operators, building a living proof-of-work profile. I’m an early-mid Product Manager and have spoken with potential users, educators, and industry participants to understand the problem. This is not a simple SaaS tool — it’s an attempt to rethink how human capability is developed, demonstrated, and matched in an AI-driven economy. I’m looking for a technical cofounder/founding engineer who wants to own the architecture and engineering direction from day one. Someone who has shipped real products, thinks deeply about systems, and wants to build something ambitious. Equity is open to discussion, with up to 40% for the right person.
