I’m a software engineer based in the Netherlands, with experience working with companies and clients across different projects, as well as independently as a freelancer. I’m now looking to build a software development agency focused specifically on the US job marketplace. The idea is simple: find software development opportunities in the US, understand what clients need, win the projects, and deliver high-quality software from start to finish. I can handle most of the technical side from the beginning — including requirements analysis, technical planning, architecture, development, QA, and delivery. I’ll also manage the initial operating expenses and the technical infrastructure needed to get the business started. I’m looking for a **US-based, part-time co-founder** to help with the US-facing side of the business. The role is intentionally simple and does not require a full-time commitment. The main focus would be identifying potential opportunities, helping with initial communication when appropriate, and providing a local perspective on the US market. **No financial investment is required from the US partner.** I will cover the initial operating expenses and take care of the technical side. What I’m looking for is someone willing to contribute their time, perspective, communication skills, and entrepreneurial mindset. You don’t need to be a software engineer. Some knowledge of software development would be a plus, but it’s not mandatory. I can handle the technical work, and we can learn from each other as we build the business. The goal is to start lean, pursue real opportunities in the US market, win our first projects, prove the business model, and gradually grow into a reliable software development agency with repeat clients and a strong development team.
