Cloudback is a bootstrapped SaaS that automates secure backups and rapid restores for GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps and Linear. The platform protects over 14 k repositories with more than 4 million backups created. It offers immutable, replicated backups that are air‑gapped and write‑once to guard against ransomware, plus features like bring‑your‑own storage and customer‑managed encryption keys. Automation is available through a Terraform provider and AI integration via an MCP server that lets assistants adjust backup policies across accounts.
