Matt Senter

Founder, Entrepreneur, and Technologist

Matt Senter is a technology entrepreneur, software engineer, and product builder focused on creating practical AI-powered tools that solve real-world problems. He is the founder of Senternet, a software studio building products across artificial intelligence, productivity, media technology, and social impact. Through Senternet, Matt develops and launches products from concept through architecture, engineering, deployment, and growth. One of Senternet’s flagship projects is Highwire (highwire.news), an AI-powered news analysis platform designed to help readers and journalists understand how information is constructed. Highwire goes beyond simple political labels or bias scores by analyzing claims, evidence, sources, narratives, framing, and areas of agreement or disagreement across multiple publishers. The goal is to make the modern information ecosystem more transparent and help people better understand why different outlets tell different stories. Matt is also the creator of Premail, an AI-powered email productivity platform designed to help users manage email more effectively while maintaining control over their own communications. His work focuses on building AI systems that augment human decision-making rather than replace it. Before founding Senternet, Matt served as CTO at Superlogic, where he helped build technology platforms at the intersection of consumer engagement, loyalty, and digital experiences. He has held leadership roles spanning software engineering, product development, cloud architecture, and startup operations. Throughout his career, Matt has specialized in taking ambitious ideas from early prototypes to production systems. His technical experience includes artificial intelligence applications, cloud infrastructure, full-stack software development, distributed systems, automation, and developer tooling. In addition to his commercial ventures, Matt is involved in community and nonprofit technology initiatives. He serves as CTO and COO of BeeReady (beeready.buzz), a nonprofit focused on improving youth sports safety through CPR education, AED access, and technology-enabled emergency preparedness. BeeReady combines youth leadership with adult mentorship to help communities respond effectively to cardiac emergencies. Matt believes the next generation of software will be defined by thoughtful applications of artificial intelligence: tools that increase human capability, improve access to information, and help people make better decisions. His work focuses on building products that are not just technically innovative, but genuinely useful. Based in North Carolina, Matt continues to build software products through Senternet while exploring new opportunities where technology, entrepreneurship, and positive impact intersect.
