I’m building a consumer finance product that puts money back in people’s pockets. The concept is validated, there’s a working prototype, and early results are genuinely promising. I’m now looking for a technical co-founder to own the engineering and help take it from prototype to real product. What I’ve got: a clear, focused idea in a large market, a working MVP, deep knowledge of the problem space, and a roadmap. What I need: someone to be the technical half of the founding team and build alongside me. This is a hands-on build, not a manage-from-the-top role. You’d own architecture and delivery across a modern web stack (Node.js, React/TypeScript, Postgres), with automation, third-party API integrations, and data handling at the core. It’s the kind of product where good engineering is the moat. You’re a strong fit if you: • Have shipped real products end to end and can own the stack solo early on • Are comfortable building fast, then hardening for scale • Want to be a true co-founder all-in, equity-driven (not a contractor) A few things up front: this is a co-founder role with a salary plus equity, so you’re not betting your rent on it while we build. I’m UK-based and want the founding team UK-based too, working closely together. The space is lightly regulated, so a pragmatic, detail-minded approach matters. I’m keeping the specific idea off a public post, but I’ll share the product, the numbers, the plan, once we’re talking.
